Just under 15 minutes to go and Scotland lead 31-19.

  • Caelan Doris ready for “ultimate test” against England

Doris will captain Ireland as they aim for a third Six Nations in three years.

19-19, a big half an hour to go!

  • Steve Borthwick backs Maro Itoje as captain

Borthwick decided to change his captain ahead of the Six Nations, giving Itoje the armband.

“Maro’s a world-class player who has the respect of everybody. Jamie’s done a great job of captaining this side the last 12 months.”

“We’re blessed to have a lot of good leaders within this squad, so I feel really privileged to have the opportunity to appoint Maro as captain.”

Itoje captained England to the u20 World Cup at youth level.

  • Itoje calls for free-to-air TV

As the rumblings of the Six Nations TV rights being purchased by TNT Sports begin to gain traction, Maro Itoje calls for the Six Nations to remain free in the UK.

Rugby union as a sport in the UK is starting to gain more viewers, but Itoje believes the sport needs to remain free to keep viewers attention.

Itoje is preparing for his first game as England captain this afternoon, and with his new position is aiming to keep international rugby as accessible as possible.

TNT Sports has held a long interest in rugby union, showing every Gallagher Premiership game live, as well as the Autumn Nations Series.

Maro Itoje and England will take on Ireland live on ITV1 at 4:45pm GMT.

  • Half time at Murrayfield

Scotland are off to a good start against Italy, scoring three in the first half.

All still to play for in the second 40.

  • Two hours to go!

T-minus two hours to kick-off in Dublin!

The game from Aviva Stadium will be live on free-to-air TV channel ITV1 and available to stream on ITVX.

England will be looking for a repeat of their win at Twickenham last year, while Ireland look to start a historic Six Nations campaign with victory.
